What Yash Saarthi is
A free, no-login help desk that connects Delhi University students to trained volunteer buddies for admissions, scholarships, exams, documents, hostel, safety and general confusion.
Why it was created
Too many students miss deadlines, scholarships and rights simply because no one guided them in time. Yash Saarthi exists so no DU student feels alone with a problem.
How the buddy network works
Verified student buddies are matched to your college and issue type. Women-only buddies handle Suraksha concerns. Every ticket is tracked end to end.
Student privacy principles
You can stay anonymous. We never show your details publicly, never sell data, and only share what a buddy needs to help you.
Always free
Support is completely free for every DU student. There are no paid tiers, no hidden charges, ever.
How issues are escalated
If a buddy can't resolve something, it moves to a senior volunteer and, where needed, is routed to the right official channel — with your consent.
How our buddies are trained
Every buddy is verified and trained on accuracy, sensitivity, privacy and safe handling of student information. Suraksha buddies receive additional, specialised training.
